| Abstract: | The paper deals with the role of the educational component "Comparative Linguistics of English and Ukrainian" in the training of future teachers of English. The author proves the importance of this educational component for the formation of professional competence of an English teacher. In particular, specific examples are given of how the knowledge of this educational component influences the teacher's professionalism and helps him/her in his/her professional activities. |
